what is the most common effect for a first time ecstasy user?

Q. I am looking a variety of answers for my home work, and i thought that asking on here would be best.

thank you
do people that take ecstasy for the first time usually die? or what bad side effects are there?

A. when the pill begins to digest, it enters the bloodstream and reaches the brain. the person's hands will become quite sweaty and they'll feel butterflies in their stomach. the person's pupils will also dilate, making everything seem slightly brighter than usual. this is known as 'coming up' this dilation is coupled with what i can only describe as an intense euphoria. Ecstasy makes the brain produce an excessive amount of endorphins, your brain natural happy drug. but the gland releases more endorphins than it ever has before. i can tell you that it will make you feel.... not just happy.... but euphoric. this euphoria comes in waves. sometimes quickly, sometimes over the space of a few seconds. with it, this new llevel of emotion brings an increase in heart rate and blood pressure. though not to worry, as overdosing from ecstacy is incredibly rare. more people die on the toilet, riding a bicycle or or choking on a pen lid every year than they do from ecstacy. a person is far more likely to come to harm from drinking alcohol. i'm talking about 10,000 times more dangerous. anyway...

the person will clearly enjoy themselves for an amount of time. the amount of time depends on the strength of the drug and their own natural tolerance to it. once the drug has been completely consumed the endorphin glad decreases the amount of endorphins released. this is know as the 'come down'. the person will often have have another pill, sometimes taking more than one at a time, before this 'come down' stage kicks in. a person can stay up all night very easily on ecstacy. i also found i could drink MORE alcohol when on E.

the next morning the level of endorphins in the brain returns to normal. but having experienced such a high level of them a few hours before, this normal level sometimes make the person feel sad or down. depending on what the person does/drinks/eats, this feeling can be shaken off quite quickly.

i used to take copious amount of ecstacy. i loved it. it's not physically addictive but is very more-ish. i would taken several, sometimes more, in a single night and normally one or 2 in the morning for the come down. it was a wonderful time in my life. teenage, care-free and mashed off my t*ts for days on end. binge drinking, pill-popping, raving in clubs and kissing girl after girl. awesome.

If you eat nothing but junk food and then switch to regular healthy food, how much weight will you lose?
Q. I'm 5'9 and 220lbs

I have binge eating disorder and am seeking professional help, I'm wondering though how much weight I can potentially lose if I were to stop eating junk food cold turkey and only eat healthy meals.

Would I see significant results quickly?

Any answers help,
thank you

A. 80% of weight loss is diet.
You can eat a healthy diet and lose weight.
You can eat a healthy diet and exercise and lose more weight.
You can exercise and eat a poor diet and not lose and even gain weight.
A good healthy diet high in fiber, lean meats, eggs, complex carbohydrates, whole grains, antioxidant foods, healthy beverages and low in added sugar and salt help people lose weight, lower cholesterol, increase energy, improve brain function, lower blood pressure, reduce cancer risk and have a more positive lifestyle!
You need to eat a lot more food and a lot more fiber!
Diets that exclude foods from any food group are fad diets and do not lead to permanent weight loss or solve any other health issues.
First, try to kick your fiber intake to 40 grams of both soluble and insoluble fiber.
Whatever you do, get your fiber from your food, not from a jar.
Fruits and vegetables have good fiber in them. A high fiber diet increases the metabolism.
Try a breakfast cereal with at least 20% of recommended daily allowance of fiber in it. They are usually low in sugar so there is a double benefit. Blueberries or raspberries on top add more fiber and antioxidants. But fresh or frozen, not the kind in syrup. Oatmeal with berries or a bit of fresh honey is also good.
Raw nuts are a great source of fiber, healthy fats, and antioxidants. Avocados are the best.
Lots of beans, peas, and grains are high fiber. Whole grain breads. Fiber kicks up the metabolism so you actually burn more calories. These foods will give you more gas in the beginning but if eaten daily, the bacteria in the digestive tract will elevate lowering the gas output.
This will get you on the path for a healthy daily bowel movement. This helps clean the system and aids healthy digestion.
I know it goes against everything you've heard but eating lots of the right foods will actually help you lose weight!
Next, take an age appropriate basic daily multivitamin. Don't look at your multivitamin as nutrition but more as an insurance policy. Think of it as filling in the gaps in your daily diet as opposed to a primary source of nutrients.
You have to drink lots of water to be healthy. But you can disguise it. Fill your glass all the way full with ice before pouring low sugar beverages. Try iced green tea with a splash of orange juice in it for sweet. More antioxidants. Add lemon juice to water for flavor. Slice up a cucumber and float it in pitcher of water. Gives it salty fresh taste. But you must drink up to 100 oz of water daily to help your body get rid of waste and the natural toxins.
Last, you need to get 7-9 hours of quality sleep depending on your age. All recent sleep studies report a connection between poor sleep patterns and weight gain. This includes going to bed as close to the same time every night including weekends. Most of us stay up late Friday and Saturday night and it throws us off.
You must combine a healthy diet with exercise to multiply the benefit. Whether an hour a day in the weight room or just a 30 minute brisk walk every day, the added benefit of a regular exercise program really do increase and accelerate healthy weight loss.

I lost 30 pounds in 5 months by spending my money at the grocery and gym and have kept it off for over two years. Less than 3% of people that attempt weight loss lose it and keep it off for two years. It is not easy. It is a lifestyle change.
Good luck and good health.

how can i lose fat off my stomach by exercising indoors?
Q. its raining outside and i feel really bloated, any good exercises i can do to not feel so bloated??

A. It takes more than 100 abdominal crunches in order to lose belly fat. In fact, doing 100 abdominal exercises is only 1 step in order to get a flat stomach and the all impressive six pack abs. If you want to lose belly fat and show off your abs, then you need to follow all these steps to see the best results.

1. Aerobic Exercises
First, put away the exercise mat and get out your running shoes. That's right! You need to do aerobic exercises in order to get rid of belly fat. Aerobic exercises gets your the oxygen flowing and your blood pumping. The more oxygen your body gets during exercise the more fat you will burn. This is because fat needs oxygen to burn. Any aerobic exercise will help burn fat but some are better than others.

Aerobic exercises that use the lower body muscles will burn fat faster. This is because these are large muscles and your body requires more oxygen to these muscles. Great fat burning exercises include cross country skiing, walking, jogging and running just to name a few. You should aim for at least 30 to 45 minutes of aerobics 3 to 4 times a week for maximum fat burning benefits.

2. Eat Healthy
Eating healthy helps you lose weight as well as lose body fat. By choosing the right foods, you can reduce your fat intake and reduce calories to promote weight loss and fat loss. Eating healthy also promotes health and fitness by minimizing risks of certain medical conditions like high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

Your body needs over 40 different nutrients each day so your foods should be varied and full of vitamins. Use lower fat foods as well like lean cuts of meat and low fat or fat free dairy products. Keep the foods as natural as possible like fruits and veggies. When you have to have processed foods like bread or pasta, make it whole wheat instead of processed flour.

3. Eat More Often
Studies show that eating smaller meals more often helps to rev up your metabolism. You are also reducing the risk for binge eating as you will feel more satisfied and fuller during the day. You should try to spread out your calories and nutrients evenly throughout the day.

This is especially true for the proteins you eat for maximum fat burning benefits. Eating protein with each meal aids in burning fat because it requires more energy to digest. This means you are using more calories to digest the food and the more calories you burn the more fat you will burn which in turn will help you lose belly fat.

4. Reduce Stress
Under stressful situations, your body releases the stress hormone "cortisol". This stress hormone causes increases in fat production and an increased appetite. When this happens, the excess fat is generally stored in the stomach leading to excess belly fat. In fact, stress is one of the main causes for excess stomach fat. So to lose belly fat you want to find ways to reduce your stress.

Studies show that exercise is one of the best ways to reduce stress but there are other methods you should use as well. Try breathing exercises 2 to 3 times a day. Take 5 minutes out of your day 2 or 3 times to breathe deeply. This helps lose belly fat in two ways. First it helps to reduce or relieve stress and two it oxygenates your body. And remember, fat needs oxygen to burn so you are speeding up the fat burning process and losing belly fat.

5. Strength Training Exercises
Another way to help lose belly fat is strength training exercises. The more lean muscles you have the higher your basal metabolic rate (BMR), or the rate at which you burn calories during the day and night. BMR is responsible for 60 to 70% of the total calories you burn.

Strength training exercises are those exercises that will challenge your muscles through resistance. You can do weight lifting, resistance band exercises, dumbbell exercises or even bodyweight exercises. You should aim for 2 to 3 times a week for your strength training workout and work all your muscles including your abdominal exercises. After all, you want to show off your flat stomach once you have lost all the belly fat.

6. Get Sleep
Lastly to lose belly fat you will need a good nights sleep. Your body needs proper sleep to recuperate from the previous day. By getting a good night sleep you awaken refreshed and ready for what ever the new day brings. During sleep your body is recuperating from the previous days activities. You will be less stressed and more energized allowing you to get the most from your exercise routine.

Sleep also helps maintain proper insulin levels. Lack of sleep impacts the production of insulin which is needed to regulate blood sugar. When there is excess insulin in your body you begin storing foods as fat which is usually stored in the stomach. So be sure to end your day with a great nights sleep. After all, you deserve it after a long day of fat burning activities.

How can i lose 30 lbs in 5 months?(17 years old)?
Q. Im 20 lbs overweight right now. I want to lose 30 lbs. I really want to lose it within 5 months. Is this reasonable? I normally eat okay all day, and then i binge at night. I never exercise ,or even leave the house. I'm literally laying on my bed all day. How do i find motivation to get up and do stuff? And how many calories should i eat, and how many times should i exercise a week?

A. Losing 10 lbs a month is a good and safe target. Any faster weight loss is likely to be temporary only and in most cases you regain it all.

Running, jogging, cycling, swimming, dancing, push ups, sit ups, squats, brisk walking and power walking all help for weight loss but dieting helps more.

One of the healthiest weight loss diets is the DASH diet.

The healthy DASH diet can help you lose weight safely and effectively, lower your cholesterol and lower your blood pressure.

It is based on an eating plan rich in fruits and vegetables, and low-fat or non-fat dairy, with whole grains. It is a high fiber, low to moderate fat diet, and is rich in potassium, calcium, and magnesium.

You can see further details in a web search for "dash diet" + "lose weight".
