Q. So I'm confused, they say fat is bad for ya and that fat doesn't turn into muscle. However I would hear famous celebrites like Jason Statham or Hugh Jackman eat like 5000+ calories a day. So does that I can fast food or whatever a lot a do heavy workouts and get big. Yet in that same token a program a program like p90x says you need to cut you calories intake in half.....so what's the deal!?!?! Thanks.
A. 1) FAST FOOD: Eating fast food isn't good for you no matter what.
2) FAT: Who is "they?" Always remember that there are a lot of non-experts out there spouting junk. Fat isn't all bad for you. It's part of a balanced diet. Actually, it's the fats and proteins in a meal or snack that together make you feel fuller. Many people eliminate fats from their diet willy-nilly and then end up binge-eating because their bodies will drive them to keep eating until it gets enough fats. Your body burns fat naturally in addition to sugars (from carbohydrates). The main reason people get fat is from sugar, not fats. Eating too much sugar or refined-carbs (which become sugar too quickly in the body) releases a proportionate amount of insulin in the body. Insulin BLOCKS fat-burning to burn the sugar instead, and insulin also stores leftover sugar as new fat. So if you keep your sugar/refined carbs lower, your insulin levels will also stay lower, and your body will continuously burn through fat. Period. People think "fat" is automatically bad because they think it automatically gets stored. But your body routinely uses fat as fuel without thinking twice. It's sugar that throws a wrench in the system, yet everyone keeps eating high-sugar foods thinking it's okay because it's "low fat." NOT TRUE. (Just avoid trans fats.)
3) P90X: This is primarily a weight loss program. It assumes that people are wanting to lose weight and look more fit. It's about fast and rapid results. It's not sustainable for the long-term. But in order to sell any weight-loss program, you have to give rapid results to make impatient people think it's working. Cutting calories in half isn't really necessary for weight loss unless someone has been eating extreme amounts of calories, such as morbidly obese people. While you WILL build muscle while doing workouts like P90X, please keep in mind that they're trying to make you lose weight and look more athletic. Don't confuse their weight-loss talk with what it takes to maintain muscle mass.
4) CALORIE COUNTING: In general, calorie counting is for beginners or for people fighting an eating disorder (either restrictive or bingeing). It's not sustainable for the long-term due to the unreasonable commitment it takes. Besides which, it's possible to count calories and still make crappy food choices. That's why it's more important to learn the correct KINDS of food to eat based on their wholesomeness, and then eat several balanced snacks or meals throughout the day just enough to keep you from feeling hungry. Always eat slowly and listen to your body. Stop eating when you're not hungry anymore.
5) FUELING WORKOUTS: All that said, if you workout intensely, you have to fuel your workouts. Complex carbs (like whole grains and vegetables) give you the best energy source for heavy workouts. Eat them earlier in the day so you can burn through them during the day. The heavier your workouts, the more food overall that you'll need. Serious bodybuilders or high-intensity athletes can eat a LOT of food and not gain weight because they expend that much energy. It's still important to avoid crap, though, which can leave you with energy lapses and crashes.
6) BUILDING MUSCLE: In order to build muscle, you need to workout until you can barely finish the last set but still with perfect form. If you push past this point, you risk injury from your fatigue. If you don't push that far, you're not getting the most from your workout. The workout causes numerous tiny rips and tears in your muscles. As your muscles heal themselves over the next couple of days, they add in a little "extra" muscle into these tiny rips and tears. Over time, this process of ripping/healing/adding is what builds your muscles up noticeably. To make sure they heal quickly and add in the most new muscle, you need plenty of protein. Especially make sure you have something with protein in it ASAP after ending a workout, and continue to keep an eye toward always having something with protein at every meal. Also, make sure you got lots of rest. Most of the muscle healing happens at night while you're asleep, and it's critical to make sure you get TONS of sleep. And don't workout the same muscle group two days in a row.
In short: Don't eat crap. Eat lots of protein. Fats aren't evil. Sugar IS evil. Workout hard, but then rest plenty.

Has anyone been killed by dolphin ejaculation?
Q. Apparently dolphins ejaculate at a speed of a 180 miles per hour which is faster than the top speed of most vehicles. I'm wondering, has anyone been killed by dolphins ejaculating?
A. You've heard the expression "chicken of the sea"? Well, dolphins are the NY strip steak of the sea.
Next time you vacation to the east coast - Savannah, in particular, look through your binoculars around 1:30 am and you'll see ghostly dolphin boats cruising through the tides with eerie glowing lights surrounding the boat's hull.
Oh sure, they call themselves "shrimpboats" but everyone around these here parts knows that they're really casting for dolphins. Why else would there be hundreds of dolphins jumping through the air in their wake? They're jumping for joy at the sight of nets full of shrimp (aka "dolphin bait"). And all those seafood "soups of the day" on Bay Street? Dolphin a la king!
Dolphins were invented by the god Dionysus in 5 B.C. during one of his all-night drinking binges (He claims he did it because he was feeling unusually horny that night.) Dolphins are the second smartest speices on the Earth, but as mentioned above, very stupid... yeah makes you think doesn't it("Think" is a loose term here); they fall just below mice and just above humans as shown by my misspelling of "species."
Dolphins were once considered as mammals, but it has recently been confirmed that they are actually fish. This conclusion has been reached by a recent study commissioned by Australian prime minister Paul Hogan. That study dispelled many popular myths such as:
Dolphins breath air - this is not true, they actually absorb all of the oxygen they need from their food, the gas leaving the blowhole is simply waste gasses from digestion.
Dolphins give birth to live young - actually dolphins lay eggs however these eggs are cleverly disguised as floating bottles.
Dolphins are warm blooded - the appearance of this is due the acid on the skin of the dolphin reacting with the thermometer increasing it's temparature.
Dolphins enjoy smothering themselves with mayonnaise and being eaten by tuna, unlike many environmentalists think.

What is really going on with Demi Lovato? No insults toward her please, just answer...?
Q. I've heard that she cuts herself, she does drugs, that she's pregnant, and has a problem with alcohol... Does anyone know any of them that are true? Or what is really up? My friend said that she hear on 3 different radio stations that she does cocaine but I don't know if to believe that or not.... thanks in advanced?
A. The "official" story is that she is that she checked herself into a rehab center in Chicago, IL for "emotional and physical problems." The "emotional" problem is that she had a mental breakdown because she just found out that her entire romantic relationship with Joe Jonas was orchestrated by him for publicity reasons and to promote Camp Rock 2. It did not help things when she had to go on tour with the Jonas Brother for the Camp Rock 2 tour and see her ex every day, along with his new girlfriend Ashley Greene. The "physical" problem is that she has an eating disorder, has started cutting herself again, and actually ended up getting into a physical altercation with one of her back-up dancers named Alex Welch, which ended with Demi punching her square in the face (You can see a photo of the shiner here: http://www.theimproper.com/demi-lovato-beatdown-dancer-alex-welchs-black-eye). This altercation was the event that set the ball rolling for an intervention and subsequent trip to a rehab center.
Now, what was the reason for the altercation you ask? This is where things get a little dicey. Apparently, this Alex Welch girl informed the Jonas Brothers' manager, their father Kevin Sr., of the fact that Demi had been partying just a little bit too hard lately and was a cause for concern. This is what caused Demi to become so pissed. The details of her "partying" get even sketchier. There have been numerous rumors circulating, but so far the most consistent and plausible account involves substance abuse and alcoholism. Three independant sources have confirmed heavy binge drinking on her part in recent months since the breakup, one source being quoted as stating, "Demi's been on a tear lately. She'll often chug booze straight out of the bottle." It only get worse from here. The most shocking (yet almost proven) accusation, is that of her cocaine abuse. Two independant sources have confirmed her cocaine use, but both accounts stem back to a house party in North Richland Hills, TX on the eve of December 28, 2009. A college student idetifying himself as Brian Payne stated that he partied with Demi that night and witnessed her substance abuse as well as the filming of it. He said that she "was doing line after line like a pro, and it didn't seem like something new to her." The teen told RadarOnline.com, "Demi was belligerent, being slutty and doing coke all over the house. The guy who hosted the party shot multiple videos of this and what I've seen with my eyes, Demi is screaming, 'F**k all of you, I'm famous, I don't care what any of you think of me the whole world loves me.' He shot her in the bathroom as she was finishing a line (of cocaine)." Apparently she was kicked out of the party because she was getting too rowdy. As for the video evidence, it apparently shows her snorting some cocaine through a rolled up bill in the bathroom. Several blogs and gossip sites, including Radar Online, Perez Hilton, and Life & Style, have confirmed the existence of this video, and it is currently being shopped around to the highest bidder.
That, as far as these independant sources can confirm, is the real story. Demi started snorting coke to escape the trials and tribulations of her daily life, got caught up the the Hollywood drug scene, suffered a mental breakdown, and is now trying to put her life back together piece by piece. If this stuff is true, she can probably forget about her Disney contract... because at this point Vanessa Hudgens has NOTHING on her. I would ask that no one condemn her for these unfortunate circumstances, because believe it or not, it really IS hard to deal with all that fame and celebrity. Think about it, her ENTIRE life has been in showbusiness. She is told where to go, what to do, what to say, what to wear, what to eat (or not eat XD) and when to BREATH 24/7 by her managers, agents, execs... a.k.a. her "handlers." They basically serve as the buffer between her and reality. Up until maybe a month ago her life had become unreal. She was quite literally living a lie. It's hard to deal with reality when it hits you like a ton of bricks all of a sudden. It's liking living your whole life as a regular person and all of a sudden waking up to a test tube and finding out you lived in the Matrix. That is the danger of Hollywood. She has taken the right step in going to rehab, and hopefully she won't end up as the next Lindsay Lohan.
P.S. For everyone who wants to try and outright deny that Demi has used drugs, dont kid yourslef. You have NO idea just how easy it is to get cocaine in L.A., especially with her status. None of these stars are perfect, and they have all gotten caught up in the drug scene once or twice. You want the proof hit me up.
P.P.S. Sorry for the super long answer I just thought you might want to get the FULL story.
