how do you fix your diet after binge eating the night before?

Q. i usually don't binge eat, but last night i did, and now i am scared its going to show up all over. i have been trying to diet but i am always hungry, how can you control your hunger?? hoodia doesn't work for me. is there anything i can do today to make up for eating so much yesterday?? i try to exercise most every day

A. you just have to move on. if you obsess about the binge eating from last night and continue to worry about it you are going to stress yourself out which isn't worth it.
just get back to eating right.
i am constantly hungry too so it's somewhat of a struggle to keep my weight the same. the ONLY thing that works for me is to eat a lot of small portions thruout the day. usually for breakfast i will eat a bowl of cereal or oat meal and then a sandwich, bowl of soup or a lean cuisine for lunch then i snack for the rest of the day on apples, oranges, dry cereal, yogurt and soy beans. i just calculate my calories out for the day and make sure that i don't exceed that in my daily snacking. also i drink lots of water, atleast 60 oz a day.

How come the fat around my stomach aint coming off?
Q. Ive quit binge eating, ive only been drinking water, ive been exercising 30 mins a day,everyday,ive been doing this for over a month now, and the fat doesnt seem to be coming off my stomach.Why is this?

A. The reason you aren't losing fat around your stomach is probably because you are only doing cardio. When you do cardio (walking, running, biking, ect) you make everything proportionally smaller. For example, if you are shaped like an apple, (large middle, smaller legs) and you do cardio, you will only become a smaller apple shape. That means your legs will get smaller, your stomach will get smaller, your arms will get smaller, but they will look the same proportion. You need to do weight training on the areas that you want to change, there are plenty of exercises that you can to that focus on the stomach. Try looking some exercises up online... but a good one I use is going to the gym and they have a stand that you can do sit ups on but it looks like this... \... your legs are at the top and your head is at the bottom, your head is lower than your body. Then you hold a weight and do a few sets of 8-10 reps. You will start to build muscle, and the muscle will burn the fat on your stomach as you exercise and even while you are resting. If you stay committed to including weight training, you WILL see results.. I promise!!!

How can I lift my mood during the day?
Q. I always get in a foul mood at about 3 o'clock, mostly because I'm tired but I know that I have to keep going because I still have to get through my workout and my homework before bed. I have gained about 20 pounds recently because I have been binge eating, and a bad mood is constantly sabotaging my efforts! How can I improve my feelings so I can stick to my goals?

A. Try to switch your work outs until the am, this will suck at first but kick butt in the ling run. Then at 3 at least you know that is out of the way. As far as the binge eating, that triggered by stress and to curb that replace all the junk food with quality nosh. Trade the salty chips for roasted almonds or lightly salted peanuts. Trade the candy for an apple or banana, its all about staying full so you dont over eat. I know when I binge I feel like crap from the crap food, sugars and processed foods severely effect your moods.
