Q. From Monday to Friday I eat really healthy foods. Vegetables, fruits, wholegrains, lean meats and plenty of water.
But when the weekend comes along, I let loose. I dont know why, I usually end up working off the food through exercise, but is it ok?
If not how do I stop? Is it binge eating?

A. I am a binge eater. I can eat a whole package of cookies in one sitting. I graze throughout the evening usually eating chips or crackers. (High carb) I struggle and struggle. I wish I ate healthy throughout the week. I do not think letting loose on the weekends is a sign of being a binge eater. Perhaps you need to allow yourself one treat a day and not be so strict during the week. There is less chance of "letting loose" on the weekends that way. If you are really interested in information of binge eating disorder there is a quiz on something-fishy.org. That is a website for eating disorders. I think you are a healthy eater. Just allow yourself a "controlled" indulgence once in a while. Plan for those indulgences and limit the calories. Good luck.

I am having trouble losing weight.....?
Q. I am 5'4, and 225lbs. My goal is to get down to at LEAST 150. That means losing 75 lbs. I really don't know how to go about it. It seems really discouraging that I need to lose THAT much. I thought about walking about 30min/day at first and then eventually getting up to 1hr1/2 a day. I also have a problem with never feeling full. I don't like to eat at work so I eat a lot before I go in, and then that make me feel sluggish. Another thing is, I'll lose about 20lbs, then gain it back, or I'll do good counting calories and then I'll binge eat a week later. HELP! Serious answers please..nothing rude. I already know I'm fat, so you don't have to tell me. I'm not lazy either. Thanks!
