How do I quite bingeing?

Q. I took laxatives for 2 days. I don't know if I lost weight but I'm now 118 pounds. Will I gain weight because I stopped taking them? Should I continue?

A. You commented on how I am seeking attention yesterday when I posted pictures of me asking if i am skinny.
Well ,I want to tell you something... I have an eating disorder that I cannot control. I am obsessed with being skinny and I eat the minimum ammount of calories. I sometimes binge and HATE myself for it . I wish I wasnt obsessed with being skinny, but I am.... I hate it. I hate my body. Im never skinny enough. So I might be seeking attention yes, just so I can love my body, at least a LITTLE more.

and i read your tumblr and I know you are obsessed with being skinny too, and so I expect you to understand. also you said you eat 900 calories a day, thats not healthy, I read its starvation mode.

I have taken steroids for my asthma and they make me put on alOt of weight and it's hard to lose it. Please help! I want to be skinny and pretty just like everyone else! I'm considering becoming anorexic. I dont want to become anorexic but its hard to lose and i alway have so mich homework i cant exercise. What are your thoughts?

A. Yes, you can exercise. I have at least 4 hours of straight homework and I still make time to run 3-4 miles 3-5 times a week and eat healthy and I'm 13. Trust me hun, I lost 25 lbs by doing that. Heres what I did-

Create an image of what you want to be. Every time you are offered food, ask yourself, would that person eat this? if the answer is no, choose something that you can see them eating.

make exercising a priority. it's already planned, you just have to do it. take pictures of yourself after you work out and if you dont feel like working out, look at those pictures and remember how awesome you feel. also, having cute workout clothes helps a lot. When you come home from school, put on your workout clothes and see how you feel.

cut out on all chips, candies, cookies, fast food, pizza, fried food, salty things, white breads, white pasta, white rice, white potatoes, and processed food. but indulge once or twice a week so you dont go crazy! also, holidays are an exception (im still wayyy bloated from christmas lol).

follow fitspo pages on tumblr, instagram, etc. never follow thinspo pages though, as they promote anorexia. here are some things that you should know about anorexia, and it should NOT be taken lightly.
When you deprive your body of food for long periods of time, your body goes into what is called starvation mode. it thinks there is nothing around for fuel so it starts feeding off muscle (you need muscle to burn fat) and storing everything you eat as fat. so basically you gain weight, getting you the opposite results you want. Also, when you dont eat, you crave things and are very likely to binge, making you gain even more weight.

So the best way is to eat healthy and exercise. You will notice your mood and energy levels improve too. Trust me, eating disorders are serious and not something that you can just decide to do. Hope I helped :)
