Q. i love taking care of my health! i am always eating healthy and watching wat i eat hoping to drop some pounds but i cant help but get trapped in binge eating on the weekends. healhty foods really satisfy me but for some reason not on the weekends. i've tryed to stop binge eating by writing everything that i eat down everyday but when it comes to weekends if i get trapped in the binge i tend to not write in my journal! i tryed eating one small snack once a week but that just influences more unhealthy choices and binge eating. I also have an eliptical and i try to use that when i binge eat feel temptped to binge but usually when i binge eat i am very tired and i dont feel good to exercise. does anyone know of anything i can do to fix this problem on the weekends because my weekday eating is PERFECT and i actually feel like i can live without unhealthy food but the weekends always ruin my life! please send some tips, advise or encouragement it will be really appreciated. <3 thank youu
A. This used to be my problem every night. I would go through the whole day fine and then at night it would be a disaster. And I tried to distract myself but then I wouldnt be able to fall asleep so i would give in. This ended when I became a vegan and turned to whole grains, veggies and fruit. My diet is actually 99% identical to a macrobiotic lifestlyle.
But hmm. Maybe fill up more in the day on your healthy stuff and then you wont be in the mood to eat later on. Or maybe just have one night on the weekend to let yourself loose. Remember you are eating healthy 5 days a week. Splurging one night a week wont kill ya. Or maybe when you feel like binging fill up on veggies first then add some junk, so you'll be more full on the healthy stuff. I hope I helped..good luck!

What will happen to my body if I just stop eating?
Q. I hate food and i feel fat. I've decided to stop consuming food. I eat every other day and on the weekends i don't eat anything. What happens to my body when i don't eat, and will my weight drop drastically?
A. Your weight will drop
Your height will be stunted
Your hair will break easily and if you do it for too long, it'll never go back to normal and won't grow past your shoulders
Your nails will turn yellow with white spots on them
Your nails will stop growing, and if you do it long enough your nail growth will be stunted and they'll never grow right
Once you do start eating you'll gain back literally twice of what you lost
You'll feel light headed and nauseous all the time
You have no muscle, literally.
You get very pale and possibly, won't be able to correct it. Even now, I can't get a tan, 3 years later
Your stomach will never really look flat. Have you noticed how a lot of the starving children in other countries have tummies that poke up (Except for the ones who are starving enough to see their rips)? If you never eat, you stay bloated. Unless you do it long enough then you're ribs will start to show. And if you do it that long, you won't need a bra, you'll have no hips, and no butt.
You have black outs where you look like an idiot. Everything turns to black and you run into things and look stupid, and possibly pass out which is painful. Plus where you aren't eating you get bruises easily so every bump is pretty painful.
You become uncoordinated. You walk into things, fall down steps, etc.
Your teeth turn yellow even if you brush them. I brushed mine about 5 times a day.Even after I quit I had to have them whitened because they wouldn't go back.
You'll want to do nothing but sleep
Your heart messes up
Your metabolism is permanently messed up. I have the slowest metabolism ever now.
After doing it, it'll seem like it's the only way to lose weight. (It does me anyways) and it'll make losing weight the RIGHT way, even harder.
All that just to be skinny. And not a good looking skinny either.
When I started I weighed 125 pounds. By eating 600 calories a week I dropped to 90 something. When I did start eating normally again (I slowly started eating again, too I didn't just binge myself away. You can't do that because everything hurts your stomach to eat) I weighed 140. And I didn't eat half of what I ate before I started.

Why is the white part around my eye like a low yellowish color?
Q. I recently noticed that the white part in my eyes is like a low yellowish color. I was wondering why this might be? I'd say about every weekend for the past month or something I've been getting pretty drunk. I don't eat too much food either. But those are just some facts. I am also vegetarian. Could it be that I'm not getting the nutrients that I need?
Would it help if I stopped drinking?
Would it help if I stopped drinking?
A. If the white of your has turned yellowish, you could be having some liver problems. Given that you've been binge drinking, that might be part of the problem - however, there are several conditions which can cause this symptom. I suggest that you talk to a doctor and find out what's going on.
