Q. I constantly feel the urge to eat. Especially when i'm in a place with lots of food, its so much worse. It's like a compulsive urge, and I dont know how to overcome it. I'm bulimic, so once I end up binge eating I force myself to throw up, and then starve myself for a while.
If I could control my cravings I wouldnt make myself sick or go through these cycles, please does anybody know how I can stop or overcome this ravenous hunger/urge to eat everything?

A. Sweetie, your hunger has nothing to do with food. It has to do with emotions and self-worth, and needing acceptance. The food is just a substitute for what's missing in your life. When you gorge you're trying to fill up emptiness. Then when you feel the emptiness still there and how you've treated your body, you throw up the food. It's a vicious cycle that won't stop unless you get some professional help.
Please see a counselor about your eating habits. Sooner or later your body will rebel against the abuse you're inflicting, which can include having your hair fall out, and automatically throwing up even if you don't want to. You're in my prayers. Overcoming bulimia is a challenge, but it can be done with the help of a compassionate therapist.

How can i stop my night time binge eating?
Q. A typical day for me goes like this : I don't eat at all during the day. No breakfast lunch or dinner. Then around 10pm ill binge. Ill eat four or five meals in one sitting. I consume over 2000 calories during a binge, then the next day I don't eat because I feel so disgusting from the other night, and reapet the cycle. I honestly can't control this. Is there anyway I can break this cycle? I'm gaining a bit of weight from it and I'm desperate to stop
A. All habits take a little time (2-3 weeks) to develop and become a part of our every day lives. Start new habits that include eating proper sized portions earlier in the day.
Your current habit took time to develop you weren't born binge eating right.
With practice your habit of binge eating at night will transition to eating properly throughout the day.
If you get the urge to eat at night you'll need to find something to take your mind off of it. I will usually go for a walk, jog, exercise, read a book or anything else that requires using my hands, because watching TV leaves your hands free to cram into a bag of chips you know what I'm saying?
If I decide to exercise (35-45 minutes minimum) I'll always drink a small whey based protein shake after wards (20-25 grams of protein max) then take a warm shower and go straight to bed.
Ingesting a small amount of protein immediately following exercise will keep your body burning additional stored fat and preserve muscle for a leaner body.
Practice makes perfect and the sooner you start the sooner you'll change your habits.

How can I get myself out of this binging cycle?
Q. I've been eating healthy for the last two days. Now today I woke up starving and I couldn't stop binging.
I had:
A lucky charm bar
Banana
Fruit roll up
3 Milano cookies
2 slices bread
Lots of kettle corn
12 crackers with peanut butter
I've already gained 15 pounds in two months by binge eating. How can I stop? I can't get myself out of the cycle?

A. The key is Diet, and in particular protein and fiber.
Protein and Fiber is what can make you feel full as well as drinking water.
A good diet is the basic of everything.
I suggest you visit http://www.mywheyproteinreviews.com/diets/ to get more information on dieting and how to control your binging.
Change your peanut butter to NATUREL peanut butter, to me personally it's much more tasty and it also makes me full for half the day if i eat a few table spoons of it. Sure it contains fat but it's healthy fat and keeps you satisfied.
You can also find whey protein reviews on the products so before you buy anything make sure you read everything carefully and buy a good quality protein supplement that can make you feel satisfied through the day. It may even help you stay lean
