Q. Hi guys so i realize i have a major problem and if someone can help me, i'd really appreciate it :)
So i have successfully lost about 22 pounds and i'm at 140 pounds now (5'7). I'm not fat now i wear a size 6-8 but Lately i've been having these horrible binging episodes, idk what the hell is wrong with me. No matter how much i promise myself to stop, i find myself binging every three days or so and it's completely depressing me, i can already feel the weight piling up again.
So i have been thinking lately what could be the reason for my binge eating pattern, i've come to realize that i'm an emotional eater and another thing is that i've always been a shy person and i don't have any really close friends, i just can't seem to open up to people so i thought i would subconsiously eat to fill that void. Sorry for the long talk but i would really want to end that binge eating thing, any tips would be appreciated.

A. you need to address the emotional side of why you put on weight to begin with..
if you were depressed, is it coming back?
you need to learn and find a way of coping with your feelings whether they are sadness or boredom that does not involve comforting with food..
the best way is to ditch the guilt, the promises the negativity. instead,keep distracted and busy, keep healthy snacks and avoid food that triggers a binge like try not to have it where u can see it or get it or dont buy it at all
maintaining is very hard. and keeping your weight in check is not a destination its a journey you have to keep at it..
we focus so much on losing weight but what u do when u get there is soo important..
take on a new exrcise or sport... try new things keep yourself busy and have healthy food handy and keep fattening food away from your home and if u live with others who eat badly try to avoid being around that food

How do I eat normally without over eating?
Q. I've struggled with anorexia which turned into binge and bulimia etc. I got kinda better but have kinda been relapsing. I cannot eat normal portions without ending up over eating. But then again, i decide that I have eaten too much and now need to go back to not eating as much. So I have extremes of not having any self control with food, too having TOO much and not allowing myself enough
calories--under 700. How can I eat normally?

A. I was bulimic for 2 years..thank god i managed after trying so hard to overcome it! It feels like a dream! feels free! the nightmare is over!!!!! and imagine i am a health professional and is my job to help people with eatng disorders. imagine how hard and dissapointing was for me.. the 1st step that helped me treat myself was to abandon my stupid cheater ex bf that CAUSED me the bulimia after i found out he cheated on me n forgived him. Then i went a trip to paris 4 days with a friend n for some reason, after that my episodes were reduced so much. Then, i started reading self help books (try ''getting better bite by bite'' book). Books helped me how to control bulimia n my feelings n thoughts. I talked to my mom. I STOPPED DIETING,,,CAUSE ACTUALLY WHAT TRIGERS BULIMIA AND KEEPS IT GOING FOREVER IS DIETING. PLS STOP. eat normally n healthily n not skip meals. AND finally suddenly the right boy came in my life, n i got in love....that was the last step. bulimia left i really hope FOREVER. use any parts of my story u want. to help u. be strong.
