Q. I'm a 13 year-old girl, and i want to be healthy. But how often should i eat junk foods? You know like candy bars, tasty cakes, donuts etc. Someone plz tell me!

A. Junk food.........ah, such an addiction, yet, so good.
Well, let's break it down:
Junk food (i.e. fast food) - you should never eat this crap. It's bad for your heart, adds lots of empty calories and totally not good for you in any way, nutrition-wise.
Candy bars, donuts, etc.......also of no nutritional value, but hey, you are a girl.... and monthly PMS will MAKE YOU CRAVE CHOCOLATE and sweets.
While donuts and cakes should be avoided, you can have your chocolate and eat it, too. Particularly DARK CHOCOLATE....... (which has more antioxidants to prevent cancer, has magnesium and all kinds of health benefits)
So eat your chocolate! :) Here's proof:

Do get your exercise regularly and drink plenty of water. Don't totally deprive yourself of treats every now and then (because if you do this, you'll only consume something else in its place and that starts the whole binge/purge cycle which is unhealthy).

Has anyone else fallen into the viscious cycle of starving and binging?
Q. I can't control it anymore. I starve during the week and when I get to weekends I binge like crazy. For the past 5 days its been a constant binge. I've gained 7 pounds. I'm so angry at myself. I want to get out of this cycle. My weight fluctuates so badly. It kills me. I just wanna cry. I eat and eat and eat, even when I'm past full.
I just need to know I'm not alone. And I'll take any advice anyone has to offer. I started reading a book about how to stop binge eating, maybe that can help me. /:

A. Whenever we are down, angry, our body will instruct us to eat because eating feels good! When I'm angry or upset, I go eat like crazy too. But I use my mantra to make myself feel better. And when I'm feeling good. The crazy eating stop. And I can focus on my exercise and yoga. When your energy is stable, your weight is stable. So first you need to focus on your energy.
Following is my 11 exercise mantra that you have to chant for 108 times every morning. It's a positive thinking program. Any negativity or virus attacking your mind, this program will get rid of it. And your energy can be stable.
1. Be the best I can be
2. Keep going and never quit
3. My parents should be proud of me
4. Stand Strong
5. No excuses
6. Eat healthier
7. More pain; more gain
8. Tolerance and forgiveness
9. no fear; no desire
10. There is no fee, everything is donation
11. Stand up and fight for others
Do this every morning, right after you wake up for 30 days. These mantra can break the bad eating cycle. And make a simple exercise program like 20 to 30 minutes per day. Maybe just walking. Or 30 minutes in the gym. Something you can do and something easy for you to access. Every day block a time to relax and exercise. I guarantee it will work!!

How many consecutive days does one with anorexia go without eating?
Q. Just curious, how long does a person with anorexia start out with no food?
Do they completely quit eating and then after a few weeks of not eating do they break down and eat a vegetable?

A. It's different for everybody that has that illness. It probably starts by skipping a few meals, then days completely. After a few weeks, even days, they break down and binge and the cycle starts all over again. It's so sad. I can't imagine not eating I love food too much.
