Whats the difference between these eating disorders?

Q. Im doing a project on teen eating disorders. I need to know what is the difference between the two. Bing-Eating/ Compulsive eating, and being Anorexic. I need to know websites to find different types of treatment for the two. Also any information about eating disorders that anybody knows. Thanks.

A. Binge eating/ Compulsive eating: The person affected will eat multiple amounts of food at a time mostly to cover up powerful emotions such as sadness, depression, anger, even happiness. If the person purgers (whether it's through vomiting, diuretics, enemas, or exercise) they are classified as bulimic. Bingers normally have a normal or higher bmi than an average person.

Anorexia: The person will prevent themselves from eating or eat very little to maintain a low body weight in hopes of being "beautiful". They will restrict certain foods, pick up certain habits such as chewing then spitting or drinking tons of water before each meal. Anorexics are normally very underweight with a BMI below 18.5.

I dont understand the diff between eating disorders, can someone help?
Q. Ok so I thought binge-eating, anorexia and bulimia was all the same. Dont they all make you skinny? I know want binging and purging is, but I'm confused about the other 2. Whats the diff?

A. Anorexia is characterized by an intense fear of gaining weight, even if underweight, resulting in food deprivation or starvation. On the other hand, bulimia is characterized by a large amount of food intake in a relatively short period of time, only to purge it back up vomiting, fasting, excessive exercise, or use of laxatives or pills.

that's the difference of the other two kinds. If you have 1 of that type, go on get some treatment.

Can someone rephrase these facts for me?
Q. 1) Anorexia is an eating disorder where the main characteristic is the restriction of food and the refusal to maintain a minimal, normal body weight.
2) Bulimics are caught in the devastating and addictive binge purge cycle.
3) Compulsive Overeaters are often caught in the vicious cycle of binge eating and depression.

(1) So would it be overweight or underweight or both?
(2) What's binge purge?
(3) What's binge?

I've looked up what binge and purge means but I don't see the difference between eating disorder number 2 and 3.

A. 1. Anorexia, a serious eating disorder, is characterized by a conscious effort to restrict food intake, resulting in the inability to maintain a healthy body weight.

2. A Bulimic will binge eat and then purge in an addictive cycle.

3. A Compulsive Overeater will binge eat and then suffer depression as a consequence.

1. Anorexia results in underweight severe enough to cause death. That happened to singer Karen Carpenter.
2. To binge and then purge means to eat a large amount of food and then visit the lav to throw it all up so the food doesn't have time to digest and make fat.
3. To binge means to do a lot of something in a reckless manner be it eating, gambling, etc.

The difference between 2 and 3 is that Bulimics weight may stay fairly steady or go up or down in a range because they throw up the food (purge) that they overeat. A Compulsive Overeater on the other hand keeps the food in their body and it makes them fatter by the day.
