Q. I am beginning recovery for my bulimia. I'm a nonpurging bulimic meaning that I binge and then overexercise and fast to compensate for all the calories (stupid idea!). I lost 20 lbs doing this and became quite underweight but I have managed to gain weight back and am 5"6 and 125 lbs.
I'm really uncomfortable at this weight and would like to lose about 5-7 lbs, the healthy way and I know it won't as fast as it did with my other crazy regime. I am eating about 6 times day, no more binge eating on high cal foods, and I am not depriving myself. I also have limited myself to an hour and 15 mins of exercise a day, 7 days a week, which may still seem a little much. How long do you think it would take me to lose 5-7 lbs doing it this way? I do not want to weigh less than 118, I have a lot of muscle and once I get down to around 120, I begin to look too skinny.
Thanks!

How to keep the weight off even if I binge eat?
Q. I'm at a healthy weight right now, but recently I just cannot stop binge eating on sweets (mostly chocolate chip cookies, pancakes, waffles, and deli wraps - all fatty food by the way) late at night. It's scary because sometimes they add up to more than 2500 calories, just from a single binge. How can I keep from gaining weight from episodes of binge eating? Working out for 2 hours a day?
A. You would have to work out a lot more that 2 hours a day.
Making your body process all that sugar and carbs and fat and crap..............all the working out in the world isn't going to help your arteries and liver and pancreas with processing that crap.
Just stop binging!!!STOP IT!!!!!

Will i gain weight if i aim toward 1500 calories a day?
Q. I used to restrict calories to 400-600 calories a day, now I'm struggling with binge eating and its horrible. So I'm thinking I should aim toward 1200-1500 a day and doing yoga for 30-45 minutes 5 times a week. I really wanna lose weight but i gotta beat this eating issue before I do lose weight. Tips or anything? The last thing I want to do is gain weight.
A. This will help you lose weight. At 400-600 calories a fay your body was starving and hanging on to fat as much as possible.
