How often to indulge in food treats?

Q. I'm in recovery from binge eating disorder and to avoid relapses, I'm aware it's recommended to have a quota of times you can indulge in sugar or etc to avoid denial which can lead to food obsessions and binging.

How often is OK for a treat? Once a week? Two to three times a week? Or perhaps base it on calories in snack foods and look at your metabolism?

A. I try to limit the unhealthy food I eat to around 200 calories a day. That way I never feel deprived and I know I'm getting the right nutrition.

Is it okay to binge once a week on a low calorie diet ?
Q. I've on the ABC diet for 3 weeks now and I've lost 6 kg :D After I have lost another 6 kg, I'm gonna start eating 1500 calories and exercising for an hour a day. While I'm still on the ABC diet, is it okay to binge once a week , since it's such a low calorie diet ? I wonder if this affects weight loss , ( binge as in 1000-2000 calories ) nothing too outrageous. Is it okay if I do this once a week ?

A. You should only binge if you want to gain muscle. You've lost so much why risk it now. Only eat if you plan to work it off the next day and do twice as much, its ok to treat your self but you should schedule your treat meals otherwise you will have cravings. Its good to have treat meals 2x a week but I would have 1000 calories to keep it safe.

How to control binge eating and start losing weight?
Q. I seem to think that food is like my friend or something. This is a real problem. I am 134 and yesterday I was 132,, and the week before 126.. This bing eating problem is getting out of control. I am 5'3", Female, what weight should I be for a flat stomach?also how can I stop binge eating and lose weight?

A. Not to weigh yourself on a daily basis
your weight changes for any reason form one day to the next
if you have to get on a scale do it once a week...
same day of the week and same time of the day

eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks
or since you do binge
eat 6 small meals thoughout the day like every 2 to 3 hours
that is so you don't get hungry in between meals and possibly won't binge
no junk food, cut out sugar, eat healthy...
drinks lots of water
find some type of exercise you like to do
and do it at least 5 days of the week

who knows how much you should weigh for a flat stomach
someone might know...however I don't

btw--your weight is normal for your height
