How do I STOP being on a Low Carb Diet?

Q. Hey, so I started a low carb diet last week Sunday. I haven't eaten basically any carbs the past 10 days, but now I realize the diet isn't for me. I've heard that breaking the diet can lead to serious health risks, but I would like to end the diet. Is there a safe way to get off a low carb diet, and back to a normal one?

A. Agreeing with a previous answer. Slowly ween back into eating carbs. There is no evidence that going back to carbs is dangerous/harmful unless you binge. Also, being on the diet for only 10 days, you don't need to worry. I had been on it a while ago and did not have any adverse effects coming out of the diet.

Just in case you want to be extra cautious, just slowly eat more carbs. Your carbs should include whole grains and complex carbs.

Hope this helps.

Why is it that I look better after a day or 2 of eating poorly and worse during days in which I eat healthily?
Q. I diet a low carb high protein diet while eating lots of vegetables mostly green. but sometimes during weekend when family come to visit or other special occasions I will eat what ever I want it even becomes kind of binge eating almost. But during the days that i am binging my body actually looks more ripped and slim than when i am eating well.

A. Yup that is to be expected. In vegetables there is a high amount of fiber which can cause bloating and make you look soft. When you eat a lot of simple carbs it can actually make your muscles look harder but unless you're going to the beach or a photoshoot of some sort stick to your healthy diet because if you ate unhealthily to try to look good all the time, you'll eventually get to the point where you never look good.

Do you have motiivation for me, would I make my weightloss goal?
